Cursorful is a screen recorder that edits itself: it adds zooms that follow your cursor as you record, and its editor turns the recording into a polished demo, tutorial or vertical video. It comes as a free Chrome extension for browser recordings and as Cursorful Pro Desktop for macOS and Windows, which records any app.

- Firefox and Safari are not supported: the extension runs in Chrome, Edge and Brave.
- There is no Linux desktop app; the extension works on Linux.
- Cursorful Pro Desktop for macOS needs an Apple silicon Mac.
- In the extension, automatic and follow-cursor zooms work only while the browser is focused. Manual zooms work on anything recorded.
- The free plan is for non-commercial use, exports up to 1080p, and exports without the microphone, camera or captions.
- Smoothed cursor movement and sway need a Cursorful Pro Desktop recording, and exporting from the desktop app needs Pro.
- There is no mobile app.

- Yes. The Cursorful desktop app runs an MCP server on your computer, so Claude Code or another MCP client can read the open project, edit its segments, captions and settings, and export it. The desktop app, for macOS or Windows, must be running, with the project open in it or in the browser with the extension.
